AgfaPhoto, the world-renowned brand for Consumer Imaging Products, and RedDot Imaging, licensee and supplier of the AgfaPhoto lines of digital, still and video cameras, have announced the expansion of their licensing collaboration to include the European Union. The licensing and distribution partnership with RedDot Imaging is another step in a global expansion strategy aimed at forming partnerships around the world to build, manage and market AgfaPhotos proprietary brand.
Another important aspect of the expanded alliance is the appointment of Sagemcom as the exclusive distributor of AgfaPhoto cameras for the European photo retail channel. Sagemcom, the licensee for AgfaPhoto digital photo frames and photo scanners, will be the European distribution partner for RedDot Imaging. This will be effective as of the 1st of September 2011.

The camera line offered by RedDot Imaging, the authorized licensee of AgfaPhoto products in the Americas, Middle East and Southeast Asia, consists of 6 models. 3 Point-and-Shoots, 1 Bridge model, 1 compact camera with embedded PicoProjector and a high-definition ruggedized HD Camcorder. All cameras are bundled with productivity software from ArcSoft for media management and all but the entry-level model allow users to easily convert their images and videos into 3D and view them with the included 3D glasses.
