Automated Labor Monitoring and Reporting Service for the Construction Industry Surpasses 10,000 Laborers Registered

Reston, VA (PRWEB) August 17, 2011

ADR Software today announced that its labor monitoring service, the ADR Network, had surpassed the 10,000 laborers registered mark (also known as “tagging”), just ten months after the service was officially launched in the Washington, DC and Denver, Colorado metropolitan areas in late 2010. The ADR Network monitors and records labor time on construction sites using an innovative combination of stickers with embedded RFID tags that are affixed to hard hats, onsite monitoring stations called portals and proprietary software.

“We are now tagging and registering construction laborers at a rate of over 1,000 per month,” said Bruce Labovitz, ADR’s President and Co-Founder. “Our database of local laborers in the Washington, DC and Denver areas represents workers from over five hundred local, regional and national contractors. As our market penetration grows, so does the rate at which we are tagging laborers in our markets. Given our current rate of growth, we hope to have 50,0000 construction industry laborers tagged and in our database by the end of 2012, if not sooner. In the near future, we will launch laborlynk.com, an extension of the ADR Network specifically oriented to provide personal and professional benefits to the construction laborers that are tagged and are in our database.”

About the ADR Network

The ADR Network is a subscription based service that utilizes proprietary technology to monitor construction labor much like highway toll collection systems monitor vehicles. Using passive RFID tags embedded in an all-weather sticker affixed to an individual’s hard hat or ID badge, the ADR Network reads and records the individual as s/he passes through patent-pending ADR Portals positioned at the entrances and exits of commercial construction job sites. The transactions (referred to by ADR as intas and outas) are transmitted to ADR’s secure servers in real-time as they occur. As a result, information about job site labor is available to authorized users in real-time using any Internet connected device with a web browser.

The ADR Network’s unique network architecture allows a single ADR tag to be read by portals throughout the network at multiple construction sites across multiple general contractors. As a result, labor information is available across workforces and across projects.
