Keynote Photonics Releases FlexLight X1 DLP

(PRWEB) May 03, 2011

Today, Keynote Photonics, a developer of DLP solutions, announces the release of its new DLP Controller, the FlexLight X1, targeted for a wide range of photonics applications. Developers can use the system right out of the box, accelerating their development, thanks to the X1s built-in intelligent bit-raster generator and embedded control processor.

The system provides a new price/performance point for DLP-based emerging application solutions. The FlexLight X1 can be purchased direct for as low as $ 8997 (USD). A special UV option is also available.

The FlexLight X1 received a great deal of interest at SPIE Photonics West 2011 in January and we are pleased to announce its now released for sale. said Adam Kunzman, Keynote Photonics President. The unparalleled flexibility of the X1 system delivers video and non-video sequence modes, supports lamp or LED illumination and provides a straight-forward interface approach, which will shorten development time and move designs quickly to production.

Keynote has combined a powerful set of custom firmware capabilities into each DLP chipset and manages the data, bit-raster generator and system control through a custom FPGA. The FlexLight X1 supports either a DLP .95 HD or .96 WUXGA DLP devices. Users can also stream individual DLP bit-plane data slices or video using dual HDMI
