KeyStone Semiconductor Corp. (KeyStone), a fabless semiconductor developer of advanced digital radio technologies announced today that Eight Limited, a leading set-top-box brand in Hong Kong, has embedded KeyStones single-chip FM/DAB/DAB+/DMB-R receiver IC, KSW8650, in its DAB/DMB-TH set-top-box, HDR1, in mass production.
HDR1 is worlds first low-cost and low-power FM/DAB/DAB+/DMB-TH set-top-box that supports DAB+ high-definition audio but also slide show, dynamic label system (DLS), electronic programming guide (EPG), and internet radio. HDR1 offers DMB-TH digital TV with 1080p/1080i/720p format, HDMI 1.3, USD 2.0, Ethernet connection, etc. Other new set-top-box models to support DAB/HD DVB-T and DAB/HD DVB-T2 are available for sampling now.
