UK-based Ocean Blue Software and ALi Corporation, based in Taipei, have completed a software engineering project to adapt the Ocean Blue Voyager MHEG-5 & DSMCC software to ALi M3101 and M3330 chipsets.
ALi M3101 chipset is the worldâs leading DVB-T SOC with integrated COFDM demodulator, media processor, and audio/video DACs. This 128-pin packaged M3101 is ready for mass production and will be supplied with DVB-T software and Ocean Blue Voyager MHEG-5 & DSMCC v1.06 as a complete solution for set top box and integrated digital television manufacturers.
A number of TV and set top box manufacturers in Asia have already signed up for this ALi & Ocean Blue Software Digital TV turn key solution.

The Digital UK group, funded by Government and broadcasters has already started a marketing campaign via TV advertising and press to help the UK public understand the implications and benefits of the TV switch over.
