INPUT, the authority on government business, announced today that it has named, Michael M. Rombach, as its new Senior Vice President, Market Development.

Recently, as Vice President of Product Marketing at America Online, Mr. Rombach launched a line of premium subscription services which grew to $ 50 million in revenue and more than a million subscribers over four years. In an earlier role at America Online, he served as Vice President of Partner Sales and Marketing, where he built and led a team that developed one of the firm’s largest sales channels.
Mr. Rombach comes to INPUT with 20 years of successful marketing, strategy and general management leadership experience. This experience includes a track record of driving profitable growth and success in both consumer and commercial markets, in roles ranging from Chief Marketing Officer at a pre-revenue startup to general management roles within Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to his seven year career at America Online, Mr. Rombach held roles as Vice President and General Manager of a division at Philips Consumer Electronics, head of Marketing at NEC Technologies, and as Buyer at Circuit City Stores, all in technology-related hardware businesses. Mr. Rombach began his career with roles in strategic planning at PepsiCo and BAIN consulting as well astraditional product management at General Foods. Mr. Rombach holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Economics and English from James Madison University.
