Vector Software, the leading provider of dynamic software testing applications for embedded systems, announced today support for the Fujitsu Softune compiler for selected FFMC-16 chips. This first integration between the VectorCAST/C++ unit and integration test tool and the Fujitsu platform fully automates test case execution on simulator, and can be extended to a variety of physical targets. These new facilities in VectorCAST can also be extended to other select Fujitsu chips such as FFMC-32 and FFMC-8.

This latest integration has already been licensed to a Korean supplier organization, which will use it to test software for its engine components. It is now available from VectorCAST version 5.2b onward. In addition to the VectorCAST/C++ unit and integration test tool, Vector Softwares code coverage tool, VectorCAST/Cover, can also interact with the Fujitsu Softune compiler.
