Vector Software Expands Support for the Lauterbach TRACE32 Debugger

Providence, RI (PRWEB) April 18, 2011

Vector Software, the leading provider of dynamic software test tools for embedded systems, has integrated the VectorCAST tool suite with Lauterbachs TRACE32 debugger on its Linux platform. The TRACE32 integration was developed for an Italian electronic components supplier for the automotive industry. The specific environment of this newest Runtime Support Package (RSP) template is based on the Wind River compiler (formerly the Diab compiler).

Although initially packaged for the TRACE32 simulator, the integration can be extended to physical boards as well. Additionally, this integration can be seamlessly extended to all environments supported on the Windows platform.

To date, the VectorCAST/C++ unit and integration test tool has been successfully interfaced with Lauterbach TRACE32 for Power Architecture, Infineon TriCore, ARM, SuperH, M32R, and other chips across multiple compilers, including; TASKING, Wind River, and GNU.
