The Electric Eel Wheel is a smart electric spinning wheel which helps you spinning the fiber of your choice into yarn easily instead of traditional wheel. This Electric spinner is lighter and smaller, making it easier to take your spinning with you.
You can control spinning speed and its direction, forward or reverse. The electronics part of the project consist of DC motor, IC L298 (motor driver) and ATmega8 as speed controller. This electric spinning wheel’s design is based on a Scotch tension design.
