Pcb Connectors for Heating and Ventilating Control Applications

Summary of Pcb Connectors for Heating and Ventilating Control Applications

Camden Electronics launched the CTH/CTM1300 series PCB connectors for heating and ventilating controls. These 5.08mm pitch connectors interconnect printed circuit boards with cables in boilers, air conditioning, and similar systems. Available in seven sizes (2-8 poles), the line includes polarized male CTM1300 and female CTH1300 connectors, plus CTC1300 crimp connectors. Constructed from UL94V1 grey polypropylene with nickel/tin-plated contacts, they support 4A at 250V across a -30 to +105°C range.

Parts used in the CTH/CTM1300 Series Connectors:

  • CTM1300 series polarised male PCB mounting connectors
  • CTH1300 series equivalent female parts
  • CTC1300 series crimp connectors
  • UL94V1 grey polypropylene housing
  • Nickel/tin-plated zinc-copper contacts

Camden Electronics has launched a new range of PCB connectors designed for use in heating and ventilating control applications.

The new CTH/CTM1300 series connectors provide fast and easy interconnection between a printed circuit board and cables. They are ideal for use in boilers and boiler controllers, air conditioning and similar heating/ventilating systems.

Available in seven sizes from two to eight poles, the CTM1300 series provides polarised male PCB mounting connectors while the CTH1300 series provides the equivalent female parts. Crimp connectors (CTC1300 series) for easy connection of cables to the CTH1300 series complete the product line up. The male PCB mounting connector is available with straight or 90 deg pins.

The 5.08mm pitch PCB connectors are moulded from UL94V1 grey polypropylene and feature nickel/tin-plated zinc-copper contacts rated at 4A for 250V operation. Contact resistance is >=10m ohms and cable size is 0.5 to 1mm. Dimensions of the male PCB connector are 13 x 4.7mm (h x d) and lengths range from 15.1 to 45.6mm depending on number of poles. Operating temperature range is from -30 to +105 deg C.
