Galorath Incorporated announces major enhancements to its SEER For Hardware, Electronics & Systems ( SEER-H 7.1) software release.
Galorath has added numerous enhancements and refined estimation of development labor, materials, cost schedule and reliability; production labor, material, reliability; and operations and support effort, schedule support approaches.
SEER-H (http://www.galorath.com/index.php/products/hardware/C4/) includes major updates to development schedule how estimates mesh with program funding constraints. These enhancements, requested by users, support program affordability considerations and graph annual funding constraints versus the estimate, allowing programs to better plan within those constraints.
The Electro-Optical Sensor (EOS) option for SEER-H update now estimates air, missile and other complex platforms, using their key performance drivers in addition to its existing estimation of space based sensors. The newest technologies have also been added.
The Integrated Circuits (IC) option for SEER-H now offers estimation of Mixed Signal and MMIC technologies. This new capability extends SEER-IC to cover components designed for RF applications in addition to determining the recurring and non-recurring costs of developing a Standard Cell ASIC and FPGA.
SEER for Hardware, Electronics & Systems (SEER-H) helps organizations understand cost, schedule, risk and reliability for major hardware systems and manage total lifecycle costs for any size hardware or electronics project, from individual components to a variety of product assemblies, to complete systems and systems of systems. SEER-H provides cost and projections from project inception to production, including systems level, product development, production, operations, support and disposal.
Current users of SEER for Hardware include organizations such as Airbus, ATK, BAE Systems, Boeing, Harris Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and the U.S. Department of Defense. Customer case studies show accuracy within 10% or better.
The new releases, SEER-H 7.1 and its optional components, SEER for Electro-Optical Sensors 2.1 and SEER for Integrated Circuits 2.1, are available immediately.
