The NXTware Remote Appliance enables customers to deploy new development environments in minutes, while reducing costs and increasing quality. The appliance hosts an embedded version of eCubes NXTware Remote Server that executes commands natively on clustered VAX, Alpha and Itanium OpenVMS servers. The appliance implements development services that are exposed as developer tools in NXTware Remote Studio, an Eclipse-based tool designed specifically for OpenVMS users.
The appliance architecture enables developers to use NXTware Remotes Eclipse-based tools to develop and modify source code on remote servers. The appliance itself is based on the HP rx2800 i2 Itanium 9310. Each unit can be easily configured for office or rack use, in order to meet the needs and requirements of any size team or organization.
Now managers can confidently deploy a pre-configured development platform that can quickly respond to business needs and environmental changes. NXTware Remote Appliance is certified to work with CMS, SVN, HP Quality Center, Mylyn, Bugzilla and other tools designed to improve quality and efficiency.
