ActionPacked! Networks to Present on Cisco NetFlow and the CBQoS MIB

Honolulu, HI (PRWEB) October 16, 2011

ActionPacked! Networks, a leading developer of intelligent software for managing Cisco quality-of-service (QoS), announced today that it is holding an online training session on October 19 to help network engineers understand how to troubleshoot QoS using Cisco NetFlow and the CBQoS MIB. Presented by ActionPacked Systems Engineer and NetFlow expert Keith Parsons, the free one hour session will provide background information on these Cisco technologies as well as a troubleshooting demonstration using a live network.

In order to troubleshoot quality of service on a Cisco network, IT engineers must have a clear understanding and awareness of how their current configurations and policies are working, said ActionPacked! Founder Nelson Kanemoto. With this webinar we will demonstrate how to access the built-in monitoring and analysis capabilities of Cisco routers so engineers can perform fast and accurate assessments without the CLI or the need for third-party appliances.

According to Parsons, proper visualization of the network is the key to achieving effective QoS assessment and implementation. If you can actually see your flows across the network and watch how your network configurations are affecting traffic behavior, youll better understand where the problems are and how to solve them, he said.

The class titled Troubleshooting QoS with NetFlow and the CBQoS MIB will cover the following topics:
