The company will have a range of demonstrations at its stand (Hall 4, Stand 159) that represent industry-leading innovations driving emerging applications in automotive, industrial, medical and consumer markets. The demonstrations will also highlight ADI’s converter and embedded/convergent processing and DSP technology.

Converter Technology

ADI has twice the global converter market share of its next closest competitor. More designers turn to Analog Devices than any other supplier for the high-performance conversion technology required to bridge the analog and digital worlds. The new converter offerings unveiled at electronica 2008 will further extend the company’s technology leadership position. ADI will also display new online simulation and evaluation tools.

Embedded Processing/DSP Technology

ADI will show how its EZ-KIT Lite evaluation kits can help developers quickly and cost-effectively get their end products based on Blackfin and SHARC processors to market via a USB, PC-hosted tool set.

In addition to the converter and embedded/convergent processing and DSP technology demonstrations described above, ADI will focus respectively on emerging applications in automotive, industrial, medical and consumer markets:

Automotive

For automotive, ADI will be demonstrating the capabilities of its iMEMS
