The part’s open-frame, single-board integrated construction offers engineers and EOEMs the utmost in PCB space conservation, design flexibility, and manufacturing throughput. Microprocessor-controlled, the device boasts a proprietary single-stage power supply control, and architecture that uses synchronous rectification to achieve extremely high conversion efficiencies. Notably, the converter’s constant switching frequency enables very low common mode noise operation, and its circuitry provides very low ripple.

Highly applicable for employment in demanding telecom, networking, and wireless applications requiring high current, low voltage and fast transient-response times, Bel’s newest power module has an operating efficiency of 93.5% at full load, and 94.5% at half load.
