Cambridge Analog Technologies Appoints Semiconductor IP Veteran Didier Lacroix to Advisory Board

Lacroix, a veteran of the semiconductor IP industry, brings a wealth of experience to Cambridge Analog as the company continues its growth as a leading semiconductor IP provider of ultra-low power and high performance mixed-signal circuits including ADCs, PLLs and DACs.

Didier joins the CAT advisory board with over 20 years of public and private company senior executive experience, most recently as CEO of Silicon Clocks, Inc. (acquired by Silicon Laboratories, Inc.), a technology leader for MEMS-based timing and sensor semiconductors. Prior to Silicon Clocks, he was VP Sales for Mosys, Inc., a leading supplier of embedded memory and analog IP. Before, Didier was senior vice-president of worldwide sales for Chipidea Inc., a leading provider of analog and mixed-signal IP, acquired by MIPS Technologies, Inc.. Before that, he was the CEO of Discera Inc. of San Jose, Calif. where he led the development of the first commercialized MEMS-based clock and timing solutions for the consumer electronics marketplace. Prior to joining Discera, he was vice-president and general manager of MEMSCAP Inc.’s wireless business unit in San Jose. Didier also has held senior management positions at Synopsys Inc. of Mountain View, Calif. where he was responsible for the early growth of their consulting services and standards-based system IP business
