Hosting pioneer AIS Network today announced that ClueTrust founder and president Gaige B. Paulsen has joined the advisory board responsible for guiding AISNs rapid growth and cloud computing business.
AISN is excited to have the benefit of Gaiges wisdom and strategic mind as we strengthen our position in the cloud computing market, said AISN Chairman Kurt Baumann.
For the past 25 years, Gaige has led and advised technology companies on software architecture, development techniques and platforms in areas including embedded systems, next-generation power and Internet distribution, identity management, and geographic information systems.
A software entrepreneur and technologist for over 25 years, Paulsen began his work in the Internet in 1985 while attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and working at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), one of five NSF-funded supercomputing centers established for research and collaboration. His co-development of NCSA Telnet led to his role as CTO and COO of InterCon Systems Corporation, an Internet software company that developed market-leading TCP/IP products for Macintosh computers.
Paulsen is currently chief executive of ClueTrust, which makes Cartographica and CartoMobile, geospatial products for MacOS X and iOS.
Revered technology executives Doug Humphrey and William L. Schrader joined the AISN advisory board in February.
With network operations centers in the Chicago and Washington, DC metropolitan areas, 18-year-old AISN is recognized as a pioneer in managed hosting technologies.
