The Cool-Power® PI3106 is a very high density isolated DC-DC converter implementing high efficiency
soft-switching powerarchitecture. The PI3106 operates over a wide range input of 18 V to 36 Vdc,
delivering ~50 W of output power (12 Vout @ 4.2 A), yielding an unprecedented power density of 333 W/in3,
achieving 3-4 times the power density of alternate solutions. The PI3106 is available in a space saving
surface mountable 0.87” x 0.65” x 0.27” package, achieving ~50% space reduction versus conventional solutions.
