Global Electronic Components Distributor TTI Lists Inventory on New ECIA Authorized Web Site

Atlanta, Ga. (PRWEB) August 23, 2011

TTI, Inc., a global authorized distributor specialist offering passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components, is now a part of the all-authorized inventory search site, http://www.ECIAauthorized.com. The site is operated by the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA). It is the first of its kind to be industry-owned and managed.

TTIs extensive product line and supply chain solutions have made the company a distributor of choice for industrial, military, aerospace and consumer electronic manufacturers worldwide. TTI is recognized as an industry leader in service and quality and provides a broad array of supply chain services to its customer base.

The highly-anticipated new Web site is a key component of the ECIAs efforts to fight the flow of counterfeit parts, providing customers with a secure location to find authorized products. The site only lists inventory that is genuine and backed by the manufacturers warranty, said ECIA President Robin Gray.

Along with our sister company, Mouser Electronics, we have long been an active member and supporter of our industry association. We believe that this new portal for inventory search will prove invaluable to all buyers and engineers, as well as provide real benefit to the associations distributor members. Outside of our own website, TTI has been very selective about the third party sites to which we provide data. Adding ECIAauthorized.com to our short list was an easy decision given the perfect alignment the site has with our industry and its mission to provide genuine, straight-from-the-manufacturer parts to the overall electronics industry, said Michael Knight, TTIs Vice President of Marketing and Product Management.

TTIs extensive authorized component product line includes: resistors, capacitors, connectors, potentiometers, timing devices, EMC and circuit protection components, wire and cable, identification products, application tools, switches, relays, sensors and discrete semiconductors. All can be searched on http://www.ECIAauthorized.com.

Search results on http://www.ECIAauthorized.com are displayed at random, based on search match and availability. This is a major difference from some search sites, which are influenced by advertising expenditures or sponsorships.

While inventory searches will be handled on the association Web site, sales will be completed through each distributors private site. TTI, Inc. orders will be placed through http://www.ttiinc.com. This is another benefit to users in that it eliminates the possibility of purchase data being captured and shared by unauthorized third parties.
