Hardent Introduces On-the-Job FPGA Coaching Following Every Xilinx Training Course

Montreal, QC (PRWEB) November 21, 2011

Today Hardent has announced a follow-on coaching service for Hardent and Xilinx trainees. The follow-on coaching is an on-the-job support service for electronic design engineers, available after they have graduated from one of Hardents Xilinx or FPGA training courses. This service was introduced when Hardent noticed that many of its trainees experience a delay between the end of their course and their project implementation, and they needed a quick refresh. The follow-on training sessions offer engineers professional assistance either from their original trainer or from another Hardent FPGA design expert.

With the addition of the follow-on coaching service, Hardent offers complete beginning-to-end assistance to electrical design engineers. While Hardents courses teach the fundamental approaches and solutions to a broad array of problems, they cannot possibly cover every implementation detail an engineer might encounter. In order to better cater to trainees, Hardent decided to extend it service beyond the formal FPGA training class, and offer follow-on support for those who had taken these classes and had a good grasp of the material, but needed some additional clarification because of the nature of their specific implementation. We noticed that there were some engineers who needed extra orientation once they started working on their projects. Either because of the length of time between our course and their work, or because of the high degree of complexity of their requirements, they would come to us to point them in the right direction, said Simon Robin, CEO of Hardent, so to meet this demand, Hardent decided to offer follow-on coaching as an on-the-job add-on support for these students.

As part of the introduction of this service, Hardent is now offering the first 50 trainees who enroll in one of its courses an hour of follow-on coaching at no additional cost (with the appropriate promo code). This will allow many trainees to try-out the service and experience its benefits. After this promotional period, trainees will be expected to book the follow-on coaching as they sign-up for their FPGA training course. Further information on Hardents follow-on coaching, including an instructional video and the promo code, can be found at the follow-on coaching page.
