Mathew Crockett has been named Chief Technology Officer at New England Data Services (NEDS), located at 305 Winter Street in Waltham, MA.
Crockett, a seasoned IT professional, is responsible for NEDS entire network infrastructure including its hosting facilities and network administration, a role critical to the future growth of NEDS, an innovative e-Business managed services company that is putting enterprise-class Internet infrastructure management within the reach of small to medium sized companies across New England.

NEDS CTO Crockett has spent most of the past decade in the study, creation, configuration and management of complex Internet infrastructures. Prior to building the NEDS infrastructure from the ground up, Crockett was Director of Managed Services and Architecture for Coradiant Incorporated of Waltham, MA where he evaluated managed services products.
I am dedicated to providing NEDS customers with the latest technologies, supporting small to medium sized e-business communities in New England with a technology infrastructure and Internet managed services on a par with large corporations, notes Crockett.
As a tier-4 engineer at Verio Incorporated, Crockett oversaw the migration and integration of acquired collocation, dedicated circuit, and managed services customers. Crockett was also instrumental in the building of Verios data center in Boston, prior to their $ 5.6 billion acquisition by NTT America.
