Midmark deployed TAKE Solutions Gemini and Compliance Label Manager solution suites to provide mobile data collection using wireless scanning devices, increasing the availability of real-time information on receiving, shipping, and inventory activity across its supply chain. Pick Confirm scanning functionalities helped parcel shipping eliminate manual picking errors of incorrect product and quantities, reducing out-of-the-box failures by 75 percent within a month of implementation.
Coupled with Pick Confirm, Move Order functionalities help floor operations accurately transact material movement within Midmarks manufacturing facilities to shipping locations around the world, establishing verification and product scanning procedures, improving cycle-time and ensuring appropriate delivery on all transactions. Label manager helps ensure accurate product identification and real-time label printing via wireless printers on the shop floor.
