New York Trial Lawyers Form Kennedy Berg LLP One Year After Winning a Directed Verdict Worth Over $100 Million Against a Berkshire Hathaway-Owned Company in Omaha

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 11, 2011

Attorneys James Kennedy and Gabriel Berg today announced the formation of Kennedy Berg LLP, a boutique law firm of highly-experienced commercial trial lawyers. Together, in 2010, Kennedy and Berg tried a case against a Berkshire Hathaway company in front of an Omaha, Nebraska, jury and won a directed verdict worth over $ 100 million.* That trial forged a working relationship that led to the formation of this firm.

Both Kennedy and Berg have a strong track record of wins representing large and small corporations, entrepreneurs and individuals. Each has faced the most celebrated law firms in the country and won. Andrew Smith, who is currently employed by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, will join Kennedy Berg as an Associate. The firm is based in New York City.

Gabe and I are excited about our new firm, said Kennedy. “We worked together so well in trying San Lorenzos case against Mid-American to an Omaha jury that it is a natural step forward to join forces to create our new firm.

Jim and I enjoy trying cases. It is as simple as that, said Berg. We look forward to working together on other high-profile cases in the future.
