NextWindow Four-Camera Touch Screen Makes Japan Debut

(NASDAQ: SMT) (TSX: SMA), announces that its ProfileTouch 4S, the companys first four-camera touch screen, will make its Japan debut at the 2011 Flat Panel Displays (FPD) International trade show in Yokohama, Japan. The high-profile event draws the worlds top manufacturers of flat panel displays, parts and materials. The ProfileTouch 4S offers sophisticated gesture and writing recognition as well as dual-user capabilities, enabling increased collaboration in meeting spaces and classrooms. The ProfileTouch 4S will be showing October 2628 in booth 3501.

The ProfileTouch 4S is available in screen sizes ranging from 32″ (81.3 cm) to 72″ (182.9 cm), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can alternate between landscape and portrait modes. The cameras, one embedded in each corner, enable consistent touch performance over the entire screen and allow two users to simultaneously interact with the display. The touch screen features a reduced border width, for thinner, more symmetrical displays, and runs without the need to first install drivers for Microsoft
