On Oct. 11, Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq-NDSN) will celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Founded in 1954, Nordson has grown from a local company serving the Midwestern U.S., to a publicly traded NASDAQ multinational organization with sales of more than $ 667 million in 2003. The company has increased quarterly dividends for 41 consecutive years, which represents the 19th longest span of increased dividends among the 10,000 current U.S. public companies.
