PHYTEC Announces Linux Support for the phyCORE-OMAP4430 System on Module

PHYTEC has announced the availability of a fully featured ready-to-use Linux Board Support Package (BSP) supporting kernel 3.0.9 for the phyCORE-OMAP4430. The Board Support Package – PHYTECs rich set of integrated open source software components are packaged in an easy-to-use development environment for Linux application development. The BSP supports the peripherals of the OMAP4430 with source for barebox bootloader, root file system, the kernel, and is packaged with the GCC C/C++ cross development tool chain, Eclipse IDE, and PTXdist. PTXdist is a GPL licensed build system that uses the Kconfig configuration system from the Linux kernel.
