School Improvement Network is excited to highlight another key topic at the First Annual School Improvement Innovation Summit July 11-13 in Salt Lake Cityteacher evaluation.
Required teacher evaluations sometimes appear to be removed from learning, and can be intimidating. However, done correctly, evaluations can be an opportunity to help teachers improve their craft and impact student learning. Effective evaluations inform administrators and the teacher of what he or she is doing well, and where that teacher can improve. In addition, both federal and state governments are working feverously to enact teacher evaluation reform and standards.
