Miami, FL (PRWEB) January 6, 2006
In the late 1980’s entrepreneur David Swann built a workshop in the basement of his suburban home in Melbourne, Australia, and now 17 years later, he is Chairman of a global security monitoring solutions company.
Now Swann is a market leader in Europe and the US and its forecast sales revenues are expected to reach some US$ 50 million in 2006-07 rising to US$ 88 million in 2007-08.
Chairman Swann is convinced that they can continue to expand the companys market share in the fast growing home and SME security surveillance sectors.
At Swann we have focused on producing innovative, user friendly products that provide consumers with a range of security monitoring solutions to meet their needs and budget. We believe that by making our products plug and play and more accessible to end users we can grow our business around the world, said David Swann, Founder and Chairman of Swann Communications.
Swann Communications will use the CES Expo in Las Vegas, from January 5th-8th as a showcase for its latest products and a launch pad for the companys exciting year of growth in 2006. The company sees many positive signs for 2006.
Last year (2005) was the most significant in Swanns history. We incorporated and opened a new office and manufacturing hub in Hong Kong, as well as new distribution centers in Melbourne, Australia and Los Angeles, USA. The company grew sales in existing markets such as the US, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and South Africa but also broke new ground in The Philippines, Singapore, the Middle East and Western Europe, Mr Swann said.
The Hong Kong office, in particular, is paramount to realizing our growth expectations in Asian and other global markets,” he added.
This years CES expo, subtitled by organizers as defining tomorrows technology, runs from January 5-8 at the Las Vegas Hilton in the United States and, as always, is expected to be an important meeting point for manufacturers, buyers and customers of consumer electronics from around the world.
Senior Swann management will attend the show including the companys Chairman Mr David Swann, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer (USA) Mr Keith Oldridge and Vice President (USA) Mr Guy Pithie.
“We are looking forward to presenting at CES. We have a large 40 feet wide display and we will use the show as an opportunity to display our exciting new range for 2006, Swann Global Chairman, Mr David Swann said. The show presents us with an ideal vehicle to meet with some of the worlds leading consumer electronics buyers and meet consumers at the same time, all under one roof.
The company is targeting 100% sales growth to US$ 42 million for the 2005-2006 financial year and each year for the next 5 years, as the global market for do-it-yourself Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) security solutions continues to develop.
The key components in Swanns growth will be:
-Continued innovative new product development including:
-Wireless alarm kits with intelligent remote monitoring connectivity
-Digital video recorders with remote notification and playback over the web
-CCTV cameras with high resolution CCD image sensors
-Wireless surveillance systems that are flexible and more affordable
-IP camera technology for surveillance via networks and the web
-Convergence solutions that integrate CCTV and computer applications
Growth in Swanns existing markets and market development into:
-Asia including The Philippines, Singapore, India and more
-Europe including France, Germany, Croatia, Turkey and more
-The Middle East including Saudi Arabia, UAE and more
Taking do-it-yourself security solutions to a mass market in each region:
-Product packaging and web content localized into multiple languages
-More consumer-friendly product packaging and labelling
-Easier to follow quick start guides and instruction manuals
-Online interactive training modules for resellers & distributors
-Mass media and co-operative advertising programs highlighting ease of use and affordability
Swann has been seeing significant sales growth in its CCTV business as demand soars in todays security-conscious climate. The deployment of CCTV surveillance systems is growing at an exponential rate throughout the world in an effort to reduce the problems of vandalism, crime and terrorism.
This years UK bombings have highlighted the importance of CCTV cameras. Police were able to use thousands of hours of footage from cameras all over London to investigate and arrest suspected terrorists.
Corporations, government agencies, small and medium business operators and families are all utilizing significant technological advances to secure themselves against a range of security threats. It has never been more important, easier or less expensive to implement CCTV monitoring solutions that deliver genuine security and the growth in global sales reflects that.
“We invite all our customers to visit us at Booth 60081 at the CES show in January. We also welcome any new resellers or distributors to pay us a visit. We look forward to serving you at the show and throughout 2006,” Mr Swann added.
