Technic is pleased to announce the appointment of Wilson Xia as Technical Director for Photovoltaics in the Asia/Pacific region. Mr. Xia’s primary responsibilities will involve working closely with R&D, Applications Engineering, and strategic customers in development and distribution of Technic’s TechniSol photovoltaic processing technologies.
Mr. Xia has previously served as an R&D Director with Rohm and Haas and Brady Corp Asia as well as Technology Director with Nelco Products Pte Ltd. His accomplishments have involved the expansion of R&D development facilities and product support services throughout Asia, meeting the demands of a variety of markets including PCB, wafer-level packaging, IC/leadframe, connector, passive components, and industrial finishing.
Mr. Xia holds a Ph.D from University of Queensland, Australia, a Masters in Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Tsinghua University. Mr. Xia has been active professionally in the research and development field for more than a decade specializing in electronic material technologies.
