BESTProto, a PCB Prototype and Small Volume PCB Assembler, Recognized with ISO 9001:2008 Registration

BESTProto Inc., a prototype and small volume PCB assembly shop, has received registration to ISO 9001. Certification under the QMI Registration Program was awarded in recognition of BESTProtos compliance with quality process standards and effective quality management systems in the design and assembly of printed circuit boards.

 

Conformance to ISO 9001 quality assurance standards required the implementation of procedural changes, training, increased documentation, and adjustments to operating systems on every level of the manufacturing process at BESTProto . “Our success in achieving this goal is due to the tremendous dedication and teamwork of everyone in the company,” said Daniel Sanchez, ISO lead for BESTProto, “ISO registration supports our pursuit of continuous improvement and an on-going commitment to provide our customers assurance of product quality.”

 

ISO 9000 is a series of internationally-recognized standards developed by the International Organization of Standardization which define requirements for the implementation of quality systems in operational procedures. The standards apply uniformly to companies in any industry and of any size. ISO 9001 applies to industries involved in the design and development, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of products.
