The IPC Assembly & Joining Processes Committee, hosted by Mr. Lambert at the 2011 IPC APEX Expo, provided a forum for the exchange of information, guidelines, and standards by professionals in the electronics industry. The standards and guidelines discussed by this committee apply to assembly, soldering, and related materials.
Mr. Lambert, EPTAC Corporations Vice President and Technical Director, has participated in IPC since 1976. In 1988 he was awarded the IPC Presidents Award for his work in Surface Finish plated through hole solderability program, and he has since received numerous Distinguish Committee Service, Committee Leadership, and Service Committee awards.
