Universal Surveillance Systems, a growing provider of innovative protection solutions to the retail industry today announced that 34-year Loss Prevention industry veteran Robert Bob Schindler has joined the firm as Vice President of Sales for the Western Region.
Bob brings extensive experience in, and knowledge of, virtually every aspect of the Loss Prevention business, said Adel Sayegh, President and CEO of Universal Surveillance Systems. We are very pleased that Bob chose to join the Universal Surveillance Team, and we look forward to working with him to continue to develop the kind of innovative security products and solutions that our company is known for.
Schindler began his career in Loss Prevention in 1971, with Vornado Incorporated, parent company of Builders Emporium and Two Guys Department Stores. In 1978, Schindler joined HUB Distributing, parent company of Millers Outpost, as Senior Loss Prevention Manager, and in 1989 was named Director of Loss Prevention. Schindler retired from HUB Distributing in 2005.
Schindler served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, and as a Ventura County, CA, Deputy Sheriff from 1968 to 1971. He received an associate degree in criminal justice in 1976 from Miramar College, and earned a bachelors degree in business management from LaSalle College in 1989. Schindler also holds the security industry designation of Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
