iFoundry Systems Becomes a Member of Texas Instrument's MSP430 Third-Party Network

Singapore (PRWEB) June 12, 2009

iFoundry Systems, a design services company based in Singapore, announced its admission to Texas Instruments’ MSP430 Developer Network. Texas Instrument’s Third-Party Programs are a worldwide network with hundreds of independent companies offering products and services that support TI’s MCUs.

“iFoundry has been developing interconnect strategies for the TI MSP chip for a number of years. We have worked closely with various partners to provide Bluetooth technology on the TI MSP platform and will also be working on embedded solutions to support the IEEE 11073-20601 Personal Health Data Exchange Protocol specification,” said Ivan Soh, Director of Engineering of iFoundry Systems.

“TI MSP devices are used in a number of medical devices, which is one of iFoundry’s key businesses. We believe our solutions will help customers add industry standard based interconnect solutions to their TI MSP based medical devices.”

In February 2009, iFoundry introduced the IFSYS-5651 MSP430 Bluetooth Evaluation Kit, which is based on TI’s MSP430F54xx family microcontrollers and plans to launch IEEE 11073-20601 software libraries/hardware in the near future.
