Kupa hosted a successful demo event for X11, its latest Windows 7 based pen + touch, 10 hour battery life, 128 GB SSD tablet computer on Aug 25th at Wokano in Santa Monica, CA. Kupa representatives at the event demonstrated how user could communicate through Microsoft Skype while drawing using pen and sharing pictures all at the same time with X11, something that could not be done on current Ipad or Android tablets. Kupa also tested how X11 could connect to different usb devices such as RFID reader, barcode scanner and even microscope video camera and showed off its accurate fingerprint scanner. The idea of using microscope camera in a video conferencing call for remote collaborative work without expensive equipment is both inspiring and impressive.
