Litron Inc., of Agawam MA has been named the 2011 supplier of the year from Hittite Microwave Corporation of Chelmsford MA. Since 2006 Litron has been supplying Hittite with complex gold plated microwave and RF housings and laser sealing services to support Hittites integrated circuits (ICs), modules, subsystems and instrumentation business.
How the Decision Was Made
Everett Cole, Vice President, Hybrid Manufacturing at Hittite Microwave led the recognition ceremony and explained how they came to their final decision. Price, Quality and Delivery have become expected of every supplier in todays manufacturing world. To pick a top supplier we had to look beyond the industry standards and see which supplier helped us in more than just delivering parts and supplying services says Cole.
