Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU) as the technology partner to KUB-Fujitsu Telecommunications (KFT), a subsidiary of KUB Malaysia Berhad, a manufacturer of telecommunications systems, today announced an agreement to jointly provide products and services to Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).
The three-year agreement is valued at more than US $ 15 Million and will focus on providing products and services that continue to upgrade TMs existing high-speed network. Telekom Malaysia Berhad is a leading regional information and communications group that offers a comprehensive range of communication services and solutions in fixed-line, mobile, data and broadband.
Lucent Worldwide Services will serve as the lead network integrator for the project providing professional services, multi-vendor network integration services as well as ongoing remote technical support. KFT will provide onsite integration and installation services, onsite technical support, installation material sourcing, and overall project management.

The win allows Lucent Malaysia to continue its growth path in the country, said Ivan Chin, General Manager of Lucent Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
