American inventor Shirley Hayden awarded second place in the INPEX Inventor’s Tradeshow. She also won the award from “Brussels Eureka” beating out over 300 inventors.
The Unique Seat Americas next answer to their outdoor and indoor recreational needs, made a major impact at the 2006 INPEX Inventors tradeshow. The Tradeshow offers inventors the opportunity to display ideas, and network with companies and other inventors. Major companies participating attend INPEX tradeshows in search of new products. The Unique Seat grabbed the attention of todays most recognizable inventors including three of the ABCS hit show, American Inventor Finalist, Eric Thomson, Francisco Patino, and Jodi Pliszka. All three visited with Shirley Hayden, the inventor of The Unique Seat at her booth and cheered her on as she won two of the tradeshows prestigious awards. The Unique Seat was the winner of the Silver Medal in its category of recreation, and the winner of a special award given to only one inventor out of over 300 inventors the Brussels Eureka award.
This is not The Unique Seats first public recognition. In 2005, the Whirlpool Mother of Invention contest selected The Unique Seat in the top 100 out of 1700 contestants. Along with winning two awards at this years tradeshow, Mrs. Shirley Hayden, was also invited to Las Vegas by the review panel for the Electronic Retailing Association. She is also entertaining several opportunities for distribution since the close of the convention.
