Hot on the heels of Googles launch: Google for Nonprofits, Philadelphia based tech company WizeHive, Inc. launches new program ApplyFree. ApplyFree offers non-profit organizations the use of software that moves the intake and review of application process out of PDF’s, Word documents and copy machines and into a free, online application form.

ApplyFree is part of WizeHive’s Grant Management System that provides nonprofits with a way to quickly build and deploy an online form for accepting applications for grants, scholarships, fellowships and similar programs. The form can contain custom fields and can be branded to match the organizations website. Once created, the form can be deployed from a custom URL and can be linked to or embedded into the nonprofit’s site.

Once applications have been collected, they can be viewed through the reviewing portal, where each application can be reviewed, ranked and commented on. We see organizations struggling with collecting, emailing, printing and copying applications, said VP of Sales Jeff Thomas. By offering our Scholarship and Grant software through our ApplyFree program, we think that we will be providing a great avenue for organizations to begin to move away from the paper process.
